Inmate Jambazi

READ DESCRIPTION AND THE EDIT BELOW!

As many of you know, I am doing a Lion King/Transformers crossover comic which  features many of the Transformers characters as lions.  I had been creating designs for each Transformers character and Knockout was one of the characters I immediately thought of and designed. I am very happy with how he looks. ^^

However, I am also in an RP forum "Escape to Pride Rock" which as I have mentioned in Masego's picture is a forum based on the comic created by the artist,

I've already RP'd with several characters based off the characters from my comic, but then I decided "Why not put Knockout in the prison and see how he'll be like during his stay?"  I don't know, it seemed like a fun idea.

Of course, I couldn't have a lion named Knockout since that name doesn't fit right in the universe of the comic so I decided that his name will be Jambazi which means "bandit" in Swahili. 

Knockout and Jambazi are the same lion, but they are in different universes.

Knockout is for the Transformers/Lion King crossover universe, Jambazi is for the ETPR universe. So if I draw a picture with this guy and he is called "Knockout" that is from my comic universe.  If I draw another picture with him and he is called "Jambazi" that is from the ETPR universe.
Only the names will change for each universe. Personality and looks will not.

I hope I'm not confusing anyone...I feel like I am... -_-;


BIO FOR ETPR UNIVERSE

Personality: Vain and narcissistic. He takes great pride in looking good and will compliment someone’s skills or physical appearance. However he will show a fierce and dangerous side to anyone who has wronged him or anyone who messes up his fur. He enjoys flirting with the males and once in a while flirts with females. Despite his carefree and narcissistic attitude, he still feels a huge sense of grief for his dead mate and doesn’t really want to get too close to another lion.

History/Backstory: Jambazi was born in a litter of just one cub. His parents loved him dearly and raised him as loving parents could raise a cub, but then when Jambazi was a teenager did they sense something was different with their cub. While male lions his age were talking about females, Jambazi was hanging out with males and some males told his parents that he tried to flirt with them. His parents were very traditional lions and were disturbed by their son’s attitude. They immediately told him to stop being ridiculous and to take a female for a mate.

Because of this, Jambazi started to feel that he wasn’t a good son to them. One night he ran away from home so that way he could be free to be himself and his parents can be free from the disappointment he was causing them. So Jambazi roamed around the lands. Since he didn’t like hunting for himself, he would usually steal food from rogue cheetahs, hyenas and sometimes other prides. He would also have brief relationships with young handsome males but none of them ever lasted long. That is until he met a very large lion named Shujaa and Jambazi…immediately disliked him.

He didn’t feel this lion was up to his standards in physical attraction and wouldn’t have given him a second thought if Shujaa hadn’t followed him around and started being friendly towards him. Jambazi merely tried to tolerate the lion and ignore him, but it wasn’t easy when he was everywhere. One night, Jambazi tried to steal some prey from a clan of hyenas but was immediately spotted by the clan. He would have been hyena food if it hadn’t been for Shujaa charging in and helping Jambazi fight them off. Jambazi was impressed by Shujaa’s fighting skills and became friendlier towards him. As weeks passed, Shujaa and Jambazi started meeting up with each other to walk around the lands and talk. The more they hung out with each other, the more the two lions fell in love with each other. Finally after a few months, Shujaa asked Jambazi to be his mate which Jambazi agreed. 

Everything seemed perfect for the next few months and Jambazi was glad to have settled down with a lion he loved. The perfect life was shattered when he returned one night from one of his usual thieving raids and found Shujaa’s body. His mate had been murdered by an unknown lion. An investigation was conducted but after a few weeks the investigation had run into a wall and was declared a cold case. Jambazi was not happy with this outcome but he also knew there was nothing he could do now. He tried to move on with his life, but it was not easy for him. He tried to forget Shujaa by putting on a carefree and flirting façade, prostituting himself to other males to gain food without having to hunt. He did like flirting around and engaging in sexual activity with other lions, but the memory of Shujaa was still there. 

Finally he was caught by the king’s royal guards when he tried to steal food from a pride in the Spirit Lands. He was sentenced to two years in Gereza Kilima but this didn’t bother him. At least he can take a look at the other inmates and male officers and maybe someone might have information of a possible suspect for Shujaa’s murder.

Related to an EtPR Character?: Not that he knows of.


EDIT: Should have mentioned this long ago, but after thinking long and hard about it, Jambazi will only appear in my Pima Wing comic. He will not appear in my Transformers/Lion King Comic. If I ever do continue the Transformers/Lion King comic, I will create a new character based on Knockout...in fact I'm thinking about changing the whole comic story line and such...beh.
